Olivier-Hugues Terreault is a French-Canadian clown living in Brazil. He is Co-founder of the Dr. Clown Foundation (Montreal) and Teatro do Sopro (Rio de Janeiro). For more than 20 years Healthcare Clowning has been Olivier’s primary passion. He is dedicated to observing, researching, sharing, training, writing and inspiring Healthcare Clown organizations around the world. He continually questions the nature and social function of the clown in the 21st century, and believes in deepening the language of the relational clown, especially with elderly people living with dementia.
